One of the highly anticipated movies in Malayalam cinema Mamangam was all set to hit screens on November 21. But as per the latest reports, the movie has shifted to December 12. The reason for this shift is not revealed by the team.
Makers of Mamangam are claiming that the movie is made on a huge budget and it is the highest budget Malayalam cinema to date. Directed by Padma Kumar the movie revolves around the Mamankam festival which was happened during the 18th century. The teaser and trailer for the movie were released last month and has garnered a positive response from the audience. Venu kavya projects are bankrolling the project and Manoj Pillai is handling the camera works for the movie. Balhara brothers Suchit and Ankit are handling the musical portions.
Lots of movies from other stars are planned for the Christmas release but due to this sudden twist they have to change their dates or will have to suffer from theater unavailability. Meanwhile, Mammooty has issued the statement claims that movies like Mamangam will take its time to hit screens.
